The Lohmeiers were referred to me by their daughter-in-law, a college friend whose neighbor's kitchen and living area I remodeled a few summers ago. Impressed with our work, she recommended us for her in-laws' master bathroom remodel, which expanded to include their guest bathrooms. Retired and avid travelers—he a former doctor at UMC and she a longtime teacher at Jackson Academy—moved to Madison, MS, over 20 years ago. Their lovely home needed an update to accommodate visiting company as they plan to stay there long-term.
They wanted to add color, especially in her preferred bathroom with its original red wallpaper. We used beautiful blue tiles to enhance the space, avoiding the usual plain white. For the master bathroom, they chose a white and gray marble look inspired by their favorite hotels, creating a clean, fresh feel. In the third bathroom, they selected a high-end mosaic tile floor that added a touch of luxury to the smaller space. To coordinate with the chosen floor and shower tiles, we installed beautiful gray quartz countertops in the two guest bathrooms.
We were impressed by Bethany’s knowledge, experience, and character. She designed, ordered, organized, and oversaw our project to perfection. The three bathrooms were completed on budget and sooner than expected. She has a real talent for communicating with everyone involved and, importantly, following up on all aspects of the job. She was a joy to work with, and we are thrilled with all three bathrooms.
